AOD9604 is a 16-amino acid peptide fragment corresponding to the C-terminal region (amino acids 177–191) of human growth hormone (hGH), with a Tyr addition at the N-terminus. It was designed to retain the lipolytic and anti-lipogenic properties of hGH while avoiding the proliferative and diabetogenic effects associated with full-length hGH.
